MATTHEW E. RUSSELL
Matthew E. Russell was born in Denver, CO and grew up in South Bend, IN. He attended Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ where he obtained bachelor’s degrees in History, Political Science and English. Matthew then moved to San Diego, CA where he received his law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in May 2007. After passing the July 2007 California bar exam, he became licensed to practice in December 2007.
Matthew’s workers’ compensation experience arises from a legal internship during law school with a boutique law office in San Diego handling claims for city and county police and firefighters. Following law school, he joined an employment law firm in San Diego in the workers’ compensation department, handling a wide array of injuries on behalf of injured workers with many of the largest unions in San Diego County including Municipal Employees Association, Teamsters, United Food and Commercial Workers, California Teachers Association and many others.

GERALD BRODY, ATTORNEY OF COUNSEL
Gerald Brody was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the University of Florida where he obtained a degree in accounting. Gerald later graduated from the University of Miami Law School in 1969. He became a Vista attorney in Chicago, IL and entered private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL after becoming licensed in Florida in 1969. In 1974, Gerald moved to San Diego, CA and became a licensed attorney in California. Gerald is a member of the Supreme Court of Florida and California.
